Fees

The costs of treatment will vary depending on the type of services provided. At this time, our practice does not participate in any insurance plans. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive some reimbursement for your sessions. When you call to schedule your first appointment inform us that you are interested in using out-of-network benefits.

Some of the questions you might ask your insurance provider:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits to see a licensed psychologist/mental health provider?
  • If so, what percentage of the session fee do you cover?
  • Does my coverage require preauthorization? If so, how do I get that preauthorization?
  • What is the deductible, and how much of the deductible have I met?
  • How many sessions are covered, and in what time period?
  • Do I need to submit a form to request reimbursement?
  • If so, how do I access those form(s)?

Appointments, Cancellations and No-Shows

Appointments are booked directly with one of our psychologists. Initial evaluations are typically 75 minutes long. Individual sessions are typically 45 minutes long. Unlike other doctor visits, sessions begin and end promptly. Due to limited time slots, it is important to inform your psychologist if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

If an appointment is missed or canceled with less than 24-hours notice, you will be billed directly according to the scheduled fee. We understand that there are some unexpected events or circumstances that cannot be avoided. If this is the case, we will be happy to work with you to reschedule that appointment.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Paypal and all major credit cards.
